(click here for aprintable version of this show information)

Awards:
Points for overall class champions will be based on a 12 point system depending on the number of horses
in each class. If 12 horses show, 12 points will be awarded to the first horse and so on down. If 9 horses
show, 9 points will be awarded to the first place horse and so on down. All three judges placings will be
added together to determine overall results. In the case of a tie, it will be broken by the most number of 1st
place awards won by the horse/exhibitor, then the most 2nd places until the tie is broken. First place
horses will receive the Golden Nationals Trophy, second through tenth place will receive ribbons.
Eleventh and twelfth place will receive finalist ribbons. Additional prizes will be awarded. Classes over
20 entries will be split.

Class Information:
Classes will be combined at the descression of show management. Based on the PHBA handbook, if a
point class can be reached by combining two classes (ie, yearling stallions with 1 horse and two year old
stallions with 2 horses) then it will be done. The youngest horses will enter the ring first. The class will
be placed as the combined class for PHBA points. If it is a combined class, the entries will then be
separated for awarding of Golden National titles. For example, the 2 year old horse may have won the
combined class under all three judges and earned 6 PHBA points and is the Golden National 2 Year Old
Stallion Champion. The yearling may have placed second, earned 3 PHBA points and would be the
Golden National Yearling Stallion.
